The Riverside Women’s Fellowship is a group of phenomenal who represent the neighbouring communities of Kirindi and Nakakonge. They tirelessly work hard to ensure that families in the community have food on their table and that the children attend school. The older women also mentor the younger ones on how to run and maintain a family home We are happy to partner with them to share their gift of unique patterned and vibrant coloured dyed fabrics. Their skill is so impressive with limited locally sourced materials they meet once a week to work together to create these amazing fabrics. They share stories, challenges and solutions to help their community unite and work towards a common goal a better future for the next generation. Rev. Christine was blessed to spend a day with them to witness the process of their creations and the outcome was beautiful. The problem that they face is getting these great fabrics to markets to sell them. We hope that you can support their efforts and share in celebrating their talent with talent and tenacity to overcome poverty and create a thriving community.
