Project Details
In partnering with the Bavubuka Foundation to produce the We Got Skillz Allsport Experience, an event that allows children and youth to participate in platforms for building and encouraging life skills, confidence, resilience and leadership skills through their passion for sports, music, art and dance.
Initially this event was dominated by male as girls in Ugandan cultural gender roles are not encouraged to participate in such events. However, in 2016, we were able to rally and create a tournament for the girls. It is great to see the girls play and defy stigmatized gender roles of Uganda. We believe this will help in shaping them into phenomenal women and great leaders of tomorrow.
This event gives both young boys and girls a groundbreaking experience within Uganda that will leave a lasting impression. Cheer on the children and youth to play! Join us in this dynamic avenue of change today.
How To Get Involved
Donate Equipment
Donate new/used sports equipment (balls, nets, cones, pennies), uniforms (jerseys &shorts) and clits.
Sponsor a Camper
Give a child or youth the opportunity to engage in a life changing camp session in which they learn the values of team work, life skills, and community development while enjoying the love of the game.
Donate a Camp Session/Tournament
Encourage the spirit of play and learning by giving to a the production of a camp session and /or tournament.
